2. BudgetHop's Purpose
BudgetHop is designed to help users discover potential travel destinations, estimate trip budgets, compare transport possibilities, review travel ideas and save trips for later.
BudgetHop is not intended to replace independent verification of travel prices, availability, entry requirements or other important travel information.
3. Estimates
Many amounts displayed by BudgetHop are planning estimates.
This may include estimated costs for accommodation, food, activities, local transport and other trip expenses.
Actual prices may be materially different from BudgetHop estimates.
4. Flight Prices and Availability
Flight prices, schedules, routes, inventory and availability can change rapidly.
A flight offer displayed by BudgetHop may expire or change before the user proceeds to booking.
Users should verify the final itinerary, conditions and total price with the relevant provider before purchasing.
5. Third-Party Services
BudgetHop may display information obtained from third-party service providers or may direct users to third-party websites or services.
BudgetHop does not control those third-party services. Their own terms, privacy policies, cancellation rules and conditions apply.
6. Bookings and Payments
Unless expressly stated otherwise, BudgetHop does not itself act as the airline, hotel, tour operator or transportation provider.
Where booking functionality or booking links are made available through third parties, the transaction is between the user and the relevant provider.
7. Travel Requirements
Users are responsible for checking all requirements that apply to their trip, including where relevant:
passports, visas, entry restrictions, insurance, vaccinations or health requirements, transportation schedules, local laws, weather conditions and safety information.
8. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for entering accurate information when using BudgetHop and for reviewing travel information before making decisions or purchases.
Users must not attempt to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload or obtain unauthorized access to BudgetHop's backend systems.
9. Availability of BudgetHop
BudgetHop may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, internet outages, provider outages, security measures or other circumstances.
Features may also change as BudgetHop is developed.
10. No Guarantee of Recommendation Results
BudgetHop recommendations are generated from available destination, cost, interest and transport information.
A recommendation or BudgetHop score does not guarantee that a destination will be suitable for a particular traveller.
11. Intellectual Property
BudgetHop's branding, application design, original software, destination-selection methods and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws where those protections apply.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BudgetHop is provided on an "as available" basis and does not guarantee that all travel information will be complete, uninterrupted, current or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
13. Privacy
Information processed through BudgetHop is handled as described in the BudgetHop Privacy Policy .
14. Changes to These Terms
BudgetHop may update these Terms when the application, business model, third-party services or legal requirements change.
The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
